Hot Water Today!
Our goal is to get your hot water back – today!
In most cases, Charlottesville water heater replacement is just a phone call away and we can replace your water heater the same day you call or the next business day.
Prevent flooding
If your water heater is actively leaking, turn off the water to the tank to prevent further damage to your home. If you can’t find the tank shutoff, turn off the water to your whole house.
Don’t Delay
Call us as soon as your water heater stops working! Don’t suffer through cold showers or risk damage to your home with a leaking tank. Our customer service representative will walk you through the steps to quickly get a replacement installed at your home.
When You Call Us
When our customer service representative or dispatcher speaks with you on the phone, we will give you a 2-3 hour time window when the technician will arrive at your house.
While we have you on the phone, we will need your model and serial number from your existing tank to ensure we are bringing a tank that will fit. If you can have this prior to your call, it will speed things up. Your model and serial number are on the rating plate on your tank.
Not an Emergency?
You may have some advance warning before your water heater stops working. If you notice signs that your water heater needs replacing, you may have some time to research your options. In that case, call Fitch Services to walk you through the replacement process.

Tankless Water Heaters
If you are interested in a quote for a tankless hot water heater, we may schedule a time in advance in order to ensure that a technician qualified on this appliance is available.
What to Expect
Our technicians are all company employees, not sub-contractors. A technician should arrive at your home in uniform with a truck that is fully stocked so that he can complete the job in one trip.
If our technician is not going to make his time window, either a customer service representative or the technician will call you to let you know that they are running late.
Once the technician arrives, he will greet you and then he will inspect the work site. He will run some basic tests and he will check to make sure the water heater is in compliance with current safety regulations and codes. The technician will then go over everything with you and will require a signature before he proceeds with the installation.
A typical installation will take between 2 and 4 hours depending on the amount of work that needs to be done.
